A firm of solicitors who specialise in advising on family matters and issues affecting the elderly have employed a new expert.
Eve Austin has joined Preston’s specialist law firm Ellen Fay Solicitors.
She joins an expanding team of experts at the firm dealing with the growing number of legal issues faced by the elderly and vulnerable adults, in particular relating to long term care.
Owner Ellen Fay said: “We are delighted that Eve is joining our busy law firm.
“Eve really understands the concerns that people have regarding their later years and combined with her legal expertise in advising elderly clients she will be an excellent addition to the team.”
Eve, who had previously worked for high profile firms in the north west, will advise on issues regarding lifetime planning.
This includes the creation and administration of Wills, lasting powers of attorney, and Court of Protection as well as dealing with client concerns over funding for care.
