Euxton’s Runshaw Business Centre has unveiled details of the events it will be hosting during this year’s National Apprenticeship Week which takes place next month.

The provider of apprenticeships and professional qualifications has a programme of events, including an employer lunch featuring food prepared by hospitality apprentices, a careers event and open evening.

With courses ranging from beauty to engineering, Runshaw is looking forward to celebrating the national week, which takes place from March 3-7.

The aim is to raise the profile of the nationally-recognised qualifications to employers, young people and parents.

This year the National Apprenticeship Service, the body behind the initiative, is launching a ‘pledgeometer’ for the first time.

This allows employers to pledge and advertise apprentice job vacancies in the run up to and during the week.

Adrian Roscoe, who is the business centre manager at Runshaw College, said: “National Apprenticeship Week has grown in popularity during its seven year existence and we always enjoy marking the week in our own way.”

National Apprenticeship Week is now in its seventh year.
