Broken down car on fire
A car parked next to a busy road for up to a week after breaking down has been damaged in a fire.
Firefighters were called to Euxton Lane in Chorley, near the roundabout with Chancery Road, at 1.40am today to tackle the fire involving a Volkswagen Polo.
It is thought the vehicle had broken down and was pushed onto a cycle path, where it had been left for several days.
The cause of the fire is believed to be suspicious.
