Big lunch at home
Abbeyfield House, a sheltered house in Garstang, near Preston, took part in the national initiative The Big Lunch and held its own buffet style lunch for 40 people.
This was followed by a garden party with tea served alongside stalls, a raffle and tombola .
Michelle Thompson, manager, said: “The event was attended by friends and family of residents and people who are on the waiting list to move into the house.”
