The Mayor of Chorley is holding a ball next month to raise money for several charities.
Coun Roy Lees is hosting the fund-raiser on Friday, February 6 in the Lancastrian, at Chorley Town Hall.
People are invited to join him for an evening of entertainment from pop duo Scandal, as well as a disco, tombola, auction and buffet.
Guests can arrive at the ball from 7pm for a 7.30pm start.
The ball is one of the biggest events in the mayoral year in Chorley.
A series of events are being held during Coun Lees’ time in office to raise money for his charity appeal.
He has chosen to support St Catherine’s Hospice, Home-Start Central Lancashire and Chorley Help The Homeless.
Other events already held to raise money have included a motown and soul night, a Lancashire night and a golf day.
Booking is required and tickets to the charity ball cost £30 each.
They are available from the Mayor’s secretary by calling 01257 515113 or emailing mayors.secretary@chorley.gov.uk.
