Axe found in car after '˜stinger' operation
Police today released this dramatic picture after a car was stopped on the M6 at Leyland.
Officers used a “stinger” to stop the Audi and said a wanted man was arrested.
They also tweeted a picture of this axe which they said was found inside the car.
Motorway police tweeted: “Stolen Audi containing male wanted recall to prison stopped on M6 Leyland with help from Mr Stinger.”
Lancs Police Dog Unit was also involved in the operation.
