Around 90 homes in Preston are without power due to "safety" issues
Close to 100 homes in north Preston are without power this evening.
Electricity North West cut off power to 90 homes in the Cottam area on safety grounds at around 8.15pm.
The company confirmed to the Post that the problem is a damaged cable.
A company spokesman said that the power will remain off until around 10.30pm, thanking customers for their patience.
