Appeal after serious collision in Lostock Hall
Police want witnesses to a serious car crash at the weekend to come forward.

At 3pm on Sunday, August 7, a Renault Grande Scenic was travelling south along Leyland Road at the junction with Coote Lane when it was involved in a collision with a Hyundai Tucson travelling in the opposite direction.
The Hyundai was pushed forward and collided with a Peugeot 206 which then collided with a Mini.
The driver of the Renault, a 60-year-old woman, was taken to Royal Preston Hospital for treatment after suffering chest injuries.
PS John Jennings-Wharton of the Road Policing Unit said: “An investigation into how this collision occurred is underway and I would appeal to anyone who may have seen the Renault Grande Scenic prior to the collision to contact us.
