North West Air Ambulance is on the hunt for theatrical talent which could help save lives.

The charity is looking for young actors and actresses to star in its new promotional video, to highlight the work its two helicopter crews do 365 days a year.

A special audition will be held to find three young actors to star in the video. The film will be shown at major fundraising events and presentations across the North West.

Those applying must be aged between eight and 12 years old, be able to ad lib and improvise and not be camera shy.

Any parent or guardian who wants to enter their son or daughter should email for an application form or more details.

The cost of running the service is more than £4.2m a year.
