But why would you want to stay in a boring old hotel which you can hide-out in some of these remarkable digs in the north west.
1. Coven Treehouse, Cronkshaw Fold Farm
As seen on The Great Staycation: Dot's Farm, BBC 1 HD* A small, cosy, heated one room treehouse. A double sofa bed lit by fairy lights with an electric kettle for making brews.
2. Coven Treehouse, Cronkshaw Fold Farm
A small basic kitchen is nearby (shared with farm staff) and has a microwave, sink and a toaster along with crockery and cutlery. We don't have a shower or bath tub (yet!) just a basic WC and sink, not very glamorous as we're a working farm, but we think the quirky treehouse makes up for the basic loo and kitchenette.
3. Quirky luxury in the Country
A bespoke Owl has views of the rolling Cheshire countryside, close to Nantwich which is full of historical interest and great pubs and restaurants. All necessities including a separate bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. Very comfortable bed settee with bedding. It is fully insulated and cosy.
4. Quirky luxury in the Country
The space is compact but everything you need is there. Youll love the outdoors space and surrounding neighbourhood. The Owl is great for couples and solo adventurers.
