Students lock on to bargains

Around 50 students, from a mixture of courses enjoyed an evening of freebies, makeovers, refreshments and pop-up fashion shops as part of an exclusive Student Lock-In event held at the Fishergate store.

Debenhams store manager Beverley Wilkes said: “Our aim was to showcase what we have on offer for students living in Preston.

“We were delighted with the turnout and received lots of positive feedback from students who liked the exclusivity of the event.

“We will definitely look to do another Student Lock-In next year!”

Food and fizz from the in-store restaurant was provided, as well as discounts on H! By Henry Holland, Red Herring, Oasis, Warehouse, and Miss Selfridge clothing and Preston hairdressers Jo and Cass gave hair fashion fixes.
