Ribble Steam Railway, based at the city’s docks, brought the steam locomotive to the city centre, along with museum objects for visitors to see.

The train was transported on the back of a truck and was on display in the city centre, with railway enthusiasts in traditional costumes.

It was part of a weekend of celebrations on the Flag Market, including a Feast for Peace to celebrate cultural diversity.
