Model Railway Exhibition 2020

The 2020 Preston Model Railway Exhibition is back at Preston’s College this weekend.

There will be layouts in various scales on display plus full trade support and refreshments available. The Cumbrian Railways Association (CRA) will also be there selling copies of their latest book ‘The Pilling Pig’ by Dave Richardson - the history of the Garstang and Knott End Railway

Entry to the exhibition, open Saturday, 10am-5pm and Sunday, 10am-4pm, at the College on St. Vincent’s Road in Fulwood costs £8, children £4 and under 15s free.

Sounds Right

Seven-piece multi-instrument band Sounds Right are playing at The Venue, Penwortham, on Saturday in aid of local sight loss charity Galloway’s and Cancer Research UK. Tickets are a suggested donation of £5, call 01772 750533.

Bag yourself a bargain tomorrow at Kingsfold Methodist Church, Hawksbury Drive, Penwortham. The Jumble Sale will include items such as clothes, shoes, books, toys and more. Open from 11am, admission is just 20p. Tea and coffee will be available.
