I bought the house in 1980 and at the time, as I was travelling extensively in business, it was a perfect haven for my family and I when I returned from trips.

What have you done to the house since moving into the property?

Built a conservatory which looks onto my private garden, built a quiet and peaceful office and extensive re-modelling to the lounge and dining room, creating an open, beautiful lounge, dining suite.

Why are you selling?

As a retired person, I am moving to Lytham St Annes to be close to the Golf Club of which I have been a member,for 45 years.

What is your favourite room and why?

I love the relaxed “at home” feel of the lounge.
