Bungalow development planned for Goosnargh

The scheme, by Applethwaite Homes of Bamber Bridge, has been planned for 3.28 acres of open land to the east of Cumeragh Lane.

The developers say the development will provide a range of “high quality, high specification home for the local community.”

Planning documents submitted to the council show the bungalows will include two one-bed properties, 11 two-bedroom and 11 three bedroom.

Applethwaite say that a “small” number of existing trees will have to be removed to accommodate the development, but the company will replace them with new trees, shrubs, hedges and landscaping.
