Drivers Direct raises 2,500 pounds for the NSPCC

Preston based Drivers Direct has raised 2,500 pounds for the NSPCC. The money raised by employees is enough to pay for a Childline counsellors training, allowing more calls to be answered.

A team from Ginger Home Care, in Farington, walked a circular route from Wheelton Fold Cricket Club to Top Lock and back to the cricket club, raising 726 pounds for Derian House Childrens Hospice, in Chorley.
fulfilmentcrowd, in Chorley, is launching a year-long fund-raising drive for Derian House. Its first challenge is for staff to turn 50 pounds into as much money as possible, through events including quizzes, fun runs, FIFA tournaments and a mens charity leg wax.
12 members of ROQ, in Chorley, held a 24-hour Macmillan's Games Heroes, raising more than 400 pounds, for the cancer charity. This was match funded by ROQ to reach more than 800 pounds
Baxi Heating has spent the past 18 months fund-raising for Alzheimer's Society. They have raised 42,670 pounds
Blackburn Incorporated Law Association (BiLA) has raised 1,445 pounds for Rosemere Cancer Foundation at its annual dinner, held at Northcote at the Rovers in Blackburn.
Key Retirement (KR) Group, in Fulwood, will partner with The Boathouse Youth, in Blackpool, and become a Platinum corporate patron of the charity.
