More than 65 local outlets have signed up for the initial launch with many of them exclusively available on the Preston Eats app. Each of the restaurants and takeaways available on Preston Eats will have a minimum of a ten per cent discount with some discounts extending to a huge 30 per cent – along with some special meal deals and items that will be exclusively available to Preston Eats customers.
Preston Eats was set up by local entrepreneur Sam Benson who hopes to deliver the same success to Preston he has had in Blackpool and Lancaster. In those areas takeaways have saved well over £1million in commissions that they would have paid to the likes of Just Eat and Uber Eats who charge up to 30 per cent per order. Sam has also promised to continue his pledge to #SupportLocal, having given £100,000s away in discounts, vouchers and offers to date.
Sam says: “If you want the ultimate takeaway treat in the city, the Preston Eats app is right for you. And if you own a business and want to enjoy the benefits of this new app, get in touch now – I am always looking for new, quality clients.”
As well as the benefits for the takeaways and customers, Sam has supported many local causes such as local food banks, homeless shelters, family support groups, local sports teams and he also headed up a large campaign around drinks spiking. He is promising to bring his #SupportLocal ethos to Preston and the surrounding areas immediately from launch.
The Preston Eats app is available to download now on both the iOS and Android stores and you can also order online via the website www.PrestonEats.co.uk
For any takeaways wanting to join the local based app, you can contact Sam via email on [email protected] or message on their Preston Eats Facebook page, it is completely free to join with no ties or contracts.
