Virtual Museum and Art Gallery Tour

The weekly family outings may be off for a while but that doesn't mean you have to miss out on a bit of culture. Many of the world's most famous museums have been digitised so you can take a virtual tour of their collections. From Bilbao's Guggenheim to London's Natural History Museum to Rembrandt in the Rijksmuseum, see some amazing art and history from the comfort of your own home.

Eat out - at home

If you're missing a bit of restaurant quality food, check your favourite eateries on social media, some are now offering takeaway service. Get the best crockery out, dress up and make a meal of it at home.

Sort the shed!

Get the whole family involved in clearing out the garage or shed - everyone has something in there. From old bikes to rusty lawnmowers, clear out the clutter and see if there's anything in there you can sell.

Have some screen time

Turn sitting in front of the telly into an event. Pick a theme from your family film or TV favourites and get the kids to dress up, include their favourite toys and maybe make some Scooby snacks!

Make Greetings Cards

Easter is on it's way and there's always a friend or family member with a birthday on the horizon. Spend some time crafting hand-made cards. It shows you've really thought about them - and will save you a few pounds too!
