Residents are being urged to shop local with the return of Curden Valley Park’s monthly Farmers’ Market
Around 30 stalls containing artisan food and locally produced crafts are coming to the park on Sunday August 27.
The event takes places from 10am to 2pm and comes with free parking for market visitors. Dogs are also welcome as part of the monthly get together.
Proceeds from the event will be used to fund the upkeep of Cuerden Valley Park. The park can be found on Berkeley Drive, off Shady Lane, Bamber Bridge, PR5 6BY.
The park is currently undergoing a £450,000 construction project to build a new eco-friendly visitation centre and cafe.
Current plans are for the centre to be open by the end of October. Construction on the project started in 2015.
