A Preston chippy has created a special Christmas tree - made out of chip butties!
The tree is 7ft tall and is made up of 20 loaves, more than 20 barm cakes and 100lb of potatoes and candy canes.
It is the latest creation of John and Corinne Clarkson of Mister Eaters chip shop, Longridge Road,Preston.
The duo are always thinking outside the box to create weird and wonderful treats for their customers. Their wacky delights include deep fried mince pies and deep fried Ferrero Rochers.
Corinne said: “It took about an hour to construct and much of it was given away to customers and passers by who were lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time when we made it.
“The image is helping to promote our Christmas competition where people can win Love to Shop vouchers by either buying a chip butty or telling us their Christmas wishes on Facebook or Twitter.
“We chose to feature chip butties as we get a lot of comments from customers that they get weary of all the fancy food at Christmas and long for something more simple yet satisfying.”
