This year has been like no other.

Yet Christmas wouldn’t be complete without a visit from Santa Claus.

The big man in red is still set to stop off at a handful of attractions near Preston on his world tour to raise festive spirits and maybe pose for a photo with kids dreaming of Christmas Day.

Youngsters will be able to meet jolly old St Nick, tell him what they would like for Christmas this year and in return they may even get a special gift to take home and place under the tree.

All while adhering to the government’s guidelines around social distancing, hand washing and face covering due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Breakfast with Santa

Get the festive feels this December at this popular family event at Dobbies Garden Centre.

Each child will have a choice of breakfast, access to fun activities and a gift from Santa.

The event is suited for families with children aged 12 and under.

Adults will also have a choice of breakfast, though the ticket doesn't include a gift from Santa.

A Winckley Christmas Cracker

The Friends of Winckley Square’s Christmas concert is coming to you virtually for 2020.

Sit back, relax and enjoy carols from the Midge Hall Singers with help from Preston Methodist Voices in your own home. There will also be a visit from Santa.

Santa's Post Box

Coffee and Carols

Bamber Bridge Methodist Church, Station Road, Bamber Bridge, Preston, PR5 6ED

There's still a chance to enjoy some carols this Christmas with this drive-in circuit Coffee and Carols service at Bamber Bridge MC. The choir will sing, boosted by a PA system, while families sing a long in their cars with their own refreshments and disposable hymn sheets (handed out).

The Santa Specials at Ribble Steam Railway and Museum has been cancelled this year due to the ongoing uncertainty surrounding the Covid-19 pandemic, its website states.

The See Father Christmas event at Barton Grange has sold out.

There is currently no availability for Santa's Showtime Spectacular at Ribby Hall Village.
