Luxury cars put on display in Wheelton
More than 50 supercars pulled up to a pub in Wheelton to raise money for a children's hospice.
Visitors to The Dressers Arms were able to walk round the display of luxury vehicles which included Porche, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Mercedes and Tesla cars.
Owner of the 1700s pub Jack Catterall said: “It was really busy, over 300 people turned up.
“Everybody had a great time and the kids had fun.
“It was the first time for the event and we hope to run it regularly.”
The Supercar Enthusiasts Show was voluntarily organised by husband and wife team Nick an Karen Isherwood in order to raise money for children’s hospice in Chorley, Derian House.
The free event raised over £25,000 on Sunday with a raffle and auction. Cash is still coming in.
Auction lots included a Lamborghini driving experience, a chauffeur-driven Rolls-Royce driving experience in London and a three-day super yacht charter from Palma in Majorca.
Derian House provides palliative, specialist respite and end of life care for children.
