“Our sales team has spotted a definite preference among the enquiries we receive at developments across the county.”

Persimmon said an example of this was its Deerwood Park development in Colne, where the Chedworth-style house, with a separate dining room and fourth bedroom and available from £245,000, is attracting a lot of interest.

Diane said: “Either can be transformed into a comfortable space to work or study, offering the perfect balance for busy families.”
