Fundraising appeal heats up for cancer-fighting Lancashire mum

A boiler is being raffled to raise funds for a single mum with cervical cancer.

Alexandra Hodson, 26, from Wesham, was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2018 and has been denied immunotherapy on the NHS. Her family are trying to raise £100,000 to pay for the treatment that could save her life.

She said: "Her next one is on Thursday, March 5. She has had very little side effects on this immunotherapy and she's got her appetite back and her weight has gained significantly."

The raffle is for an Intergas 36/30 combi or system boiler, with installation. It is £5 an entry and running until the end of March.
