Family of late Lancaster academic raise hospital funds in his memory

Father-of-two Dr Brian Tabner lost his battle with Covid-19 after being admitted to the Royal Lancaster Infirmary.
His wife Viv Tabner previously praised medical staff for their care and said she wanted to reassure other families who couldn’t visit loved ones that their relatives were being well looked after and ‘loved’.
A Just Giving page set up by Dr Tabner’s son Laurence in aid of the Bay Hospitals Charity has so far received donations of £3,560, from as far as the USA.
