South Ribble MP goes into self-isolation after Number 10 meeting
South Ribble MP Katherine Fletcher has gone into self-isolation after attending a meeting with Boris Johnson.
Mr Johnson self-isolated on Sunday after after meeting a small group of Conservative MPs - Ms Fletcher among them - in Downing Street on Thursday morning.
The meeting included Lee Anderson, MP, for Ashfield, Nottinghamshire, who said he lost his sense of taste on Friday and after being tested on Saturday, was revealed as positive the following day.
Ms Fletcher has also gone into a two-week isolation period.
She said in a statement: “I have been contacted by NHS Test and Trace following a work meeting in 10 Downing Street with the Prime Minister last week.
“I will now self-isolate at home in Lancashire in line with the rules.”
