Leyland youngsters clean up for the NHS with a car wash

Youngsters Elsie Bennett, seven, and Meredith Bennett, five, ran a charity car wash to raise money for the NHS on their street in Leyland.

They powered through 15 cars from the street, operating strict social distancing rules where people could leave donations in a bucket.

They worked hard for five hours and managed to raise £267. Some neighbours also gave them chocolate eggs.
