Since the UK’s vaccination programme started in December more than 23 million people have already received their first dose of a Covid-19 vaccine.

Official figures from NHS England now reveal how many people have been vaccinated in neighbourhoods across the country.

In Preston 43,000 people had received at least one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine between 8th December 2020 and 7th March 2021.

The uptake varies across neighbourhoods though.

1,202 people have been vaccinated in St George's. This represents 20% of people aged 16 and over in the area.

2,278 people have been vaccinated in Preston Town Centre. This represents 24% of people aged 16 and over in the area.
1,641 people have been vaccinated in St Matthew's. This represents 25% of people aged 16 and over in the area.
