John Withington, who is famous for painting his face with a different pattern for every Clarets game, has taken it upon himself to lend his world-famous cheerleading abilities to the fight against the coronavirus.

"I just want to say, for the record, [to] all the NHS staff - from the smallest little man to the top: we are all so so grateful in every second of the day," said John. "You're risking yourself to help us and I have a tear in my eye for you all.
