UCLan signs top deal with police

The University of Central Lancashire's long-standing reputation for delivering criminal justice practitioners with a range of tailored services has led to an innovative new partnership at its campus in '¨Cyprus.

A special ceremony at the Pyla campus saw a Memorandum of Cooperation signed between the Sovereign Base Areas Police Service (SBA Police Service) and the university.

This landmark agreement forms the basis for the framework for future partnerships between UCLan Cyprus and the SBA Police Service in the areas of education, community and social engagement – with specific focus on UCLan providing continuous professional development programmes to the SBA Police Service.
