New leadership role for school

Preston Archbishop Temple High School has been picked to help struggling schools.

This means both she and staff at the St Vincent’s Road, Fulwood school, designated a National Support School, will use their own success to help other schools and provide extra leadership where necessary.

Gill said: “I am delighted to have received this accolade for the school and am very proud that the excellent education we provide here has been recognised in this way.

“I believe that education changes lives for the better.

“Becoming an NSS gives us opportunities to share what we do here with other schools.

“We want to work within the education system both in Preston and beyond, to make it the best that it can be for all our young people, whether or not they are lucky enough to attend Archbishop Temple School.

The team will work in Preston schools and beyond.
