A Level Results: Girlpower at Carr Hill

Girl power was the order of the day at Carr Hill Sixth Form Centre, where a trio of female students produced the best A-Levels results.

The top three performers included Amber Elgee who gained psychology A*, sociology A, RS B, music technology Di*,

Ronja Eberhard got and A* in German, English language netted her a B, English literature and Maths were graded C, and AS art was a D.

Rosa Martin got an A grade in both history and her EPQ , English Literature scored a B grade as did Spanish and AS maths.

Chloe Roberts, who achieved A for product design, B for dance, Di* in sport and D for biology will go on to study at Loughborough University and hopes to work in sports equipment design after completing a course in design ergonomics.

Chloe said: “I felt nervous this morning while I was waiting for my results.

There was lots of news about the results on TV and I just wanted to know what grades I’d got.

“I’m so pleased with my results and I’m looking forward to celebrating with family and friends.”
