Headteacher Naomi Parkinson is over the moon and children and staff have been busy wrapping up the presents to make sure needy children get them in time for Christmas but they want to reach out to even more families.

Naomi said: " So far we have had around 150 donations but only 90 referrals. We really want the gifts to stay local to Preston and want to help as many as we can.

" The idea behind this project isn't a new one, but all parties involved feel it is a very important one, this year especially, as covid has hit many families very hard."
