Pupils across the school from reception to Year Six have taken part in the tasks including reducing carbon emissions and encouraging parents and the community to recycle.

They have also created some lovely sculptures and artwork using their wonderful outdoor area and woods for inspiration.

Junior school teacher Sarah Shaw said: “The children have worked in groups and individually to complete the different challenges.

“We are lucky to have an amazing outdoor area at
Winmarleigh.

“And it is fantastic to see the children making the most of having this resource on our doorstep.”
