The new house manager at McCarthy Stone’s Stanley Place, Jane Dawson, is no stranger to what has become a thriving retirement community in the heart of Garstang.

Having worked previously as a sales consultant for McCarthy Stone, she spent nearly 10 years helping local customers find their dream homes to enjoy retirement, with many opting for the beautiful one- and two-bedroom apartments on offer at Stanley Place.

As its new house manager, Jane is responsible for the smooth running of the development, ensuring everyone can fully enjoy the McCarthy Stone lifestyle. “Of course I had met all the homeowners previously, when they were making the move to Stanley Place and I was helping them with the transition into their new apartments.

“It’s been so wonderful to meet them again living in what has become such a thriving community here at Stanley Place. Many homeowners move in and say they wish they did it years ago, which really says it all.”

First occupants moved into Stanley Place in August 2022 and have quickly become a tight knit community and are even known to put on their own get-togethers from film nights, scrabble events fish and chips nights and recently a Burns night celebration with their own in-house Piper.
