Two hurt in roof collapse at station
Trains in and out of Manchester Victoria station were operating normally tonight despite a roof collapse which left two people injured.
Operator Northern said the station remained open and contractors were at the scene.
A Northern spokesman said: “Following heavy rain, an ETFE roof panel has come away over platforms 1 and 2 at Manchester Victoria.
“Emergency services have attended to treat two customers with minor injuries.”
