Preston property firm wins place on £750m housebuilding scheme

A Preston-based property consultancy has been selected to be a part of £750m construction framework that will support the creation of new homes across the region.

Aegis Services Ltd, based at Navigation Business Park at PrestonDocks, will provide both construction design management and clerk of works services under the four-year Innovation Chain North framework.

The framework is led by Manchester-headquartered Great Places Housing Group. It will support Great Places’ housing plans but also those of other housing associations.

The framework renewal saw a 56 per cent increase in bidders seeking to deliver works and services. 183 companies applied to supply the

framework with 726 bids evaluated across 23 lots. In total, 113 suppliers – 30 Contractors and 83 Consultants – were successful.
