Opening date confirmed for new B&M at Preston Docks

B&M has revealed the opening date for its new superstore at Preston Docks.

The discount retailer said it will open the doors to its new store at the former Homebase in Mariners Way on Saturday, March 27.

With 39,000 sq ft of floor space, the new B&M is expected to be the biggest in Preston and will include its own garden centre.

A B&M spokesman said: "The new store will be located at the former Homebase site and will be more than 39,000 sq ft.

"Customers can expect to find a wide variety of branded groceries for the best possible price including a range of food, drink, baby food and pet food.

"There will also be a fantastic selection of quality health and beauty products, homeware, electricals, DIY essentials, toys, games, gifts and plenty more to explore.

"The store will boast its own garden centre, selling hundreds of plant varieties and gardening essentials.

"We are all really excited to get the doors open next month and we hope customers are going to be delighted with their new store."

The new B&M will be its fourth store to open in the city, joining branches in Ribbleton Lane, Fulwood Central and Ringway.

B&M said it will provide more details, including how many jobs will be created, in the weeks to come.
