New shops on way at Preston bus station

Preston-based commercial property consultants Eckersley is now marketing retail units for rent.

The firm says the units, on the concourse, represent “superb retail opportunities.”

The Grade II Listed central bus station is currently undergoing a multi-million pound redevelopment programme which will see major improvements to the main concourse and structure. There is also the creation of an attractive new public space and the new Preston Youth Zone offering a range of activities for young people.

Eckersley says the available retail accommodation is situated at the heart of the bus station concourse and will have undergone full refurbishment prior to occupation.

The property firm said: “These superb retail units within Preston’s newly re-developed bus station are suitable for a variety of uses”.
