This year's five finalists for Lancashire Tourism Superstar have been announced.

Voting is now open for the award which is the only Lancashire Tourism Awards to be nominated and decided by the public. ***CAST YOUR VOTE HERE*** You can read more about this year's finalists below, or on the following links - they are: David Bailey, Mark Birchall, Kath Cordingley, Nigel Seddon and Professor Vanessa Toulmin.

David first stepped foot in the Arena at the age of just 9 years old and became an ardent fan of the venue and of ice skating.  He started working backstage at the Arena aged 16 for the Hot Ice Show.

Nigel has been involved in Blackpool tourism for as long as he can remember. He first dabbled as a young boy 'helping' his parents following their purchase of the Elgin Hotel in 1969.
