Situated in the city centre just off Winkley Square, Society1 is a new flexible work place.

It is designed to offer a full range of work space options, from hot desks to permenant desks, meeting room and event space.

Catarina said the idea had worked in other cities and Preston was the right place for co-working to thrive.

She said: “When the building came empty we knew what we wanted to do.

“We have made some alterations but the building is just perfect for it. Co-working works for many people, particuarly those who work from home. It’snice sometimes to have a workplace to go to,”
