A whole host of new benefits are on their way which they say will reward, inspire and treat you across more of their stores, but the hugely popular free takeaway drink offer will now be scrapped.

Booths said: "We want the Booths card to have universal and wider appeal amongst our customers.

"Our customers have been telling us the current card lacked opportunities to save consistently across the store and this is what they wanted to see with a loyalty scheme from Booths.

"We have therefore invested our loyalty scheme in wider areas of the stores to allow us to reward more customers."

A 5% reward will be introduced on 1000s of products including store cupboard luxuries and essentials, frozen food, health & beauty and household.

You simply have to look for a special symbol of a coin and a piggy bank which indicates qualifying products.

Along with this you can still enjoy their weekend newspaper offer but the minimum spend will now go up from £15 to £25.

Booths say they wanted to keep this benefit alongside the 5% reward and in order to do this, they have had to the increase spend.

You'll also be offered a free slice of cake in their cafés on your birthday when you buy a drink, exclusive café deals, regular in store complimentary products and regular money off vouchers.

You need not take any action; your card will automatically switch over on 2 September.
