Director, Dean Sanderson explained: “Our business is booming at the moment and I can only put it down to the fact that people have been in their homes a lot more in the last six to eight months – perhaps looking at their kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms and deciding that they want something new or updated.

“In the space of a few months we’ve gone from worrying if our business will survive to being the busiest we’ve ever been.”

The company is an office based kitchen, bathroom and bedroom design specialist and has found that its original approach to working with clients has been beneficial in the face of a global pandemic.

Director, Aimee Sanderson said: “The way we have always worked with our clients is actually well aligned with dealing with the current situation with COVID-19.

“We work from a home office and conduct our meetings with clients in their own home of via video call.

“Our digital 3D designs are easy to showcase online and the fact that we can take or send samples of each element of a client’s design to them personally means that those who want to stay in the safety of their own home can still have a bespoke room design service.

“Obviously we have to work on site to install the room but with a very small and closely managed team it makes the process very easy in terms of social distancing.”

The family firm is based in St Michael’s and has a small team of electricians, gas safe engineers and plasterers.

Aimee said that with the rate they have been picking up work, they will look into growing the staff in the New Year if coronavirus conditions allow.
