Bloomin' good win for Lancashire's The Flower Bowl
The venue, at Brock, near Garstang, won Bronze in the Best New Tourism Business category at the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence 2020.
Having won the New Tourism Business Award at the Visit Lancashire ceremony back in November, The Flower Bowl was automatically entered into the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence .

Hide AdThis national award presentation took place virtually this week.
It celebrates the best businesses within the tourism industry, covering areas such as Accessibility, Sustainability, Best Experience, Best Large Hotel, and The Flower Bowl’s category, Best New Tourism Business.
The Brock venue is home to the North’s only curling hall, a three-screen premium cinema, an 18-hole all-weather crazy golf course, a luxury ten pin bowling alley, two state of the art golf simulators and two great places to eat.
Managing director Guy Topping, was delighted with the outcome.

“With being such a new and unique venue, The Flower Bowl brings something totally different to the local area."
He added: “We are home to the North of England’s only curling hall, and we’ve successfully hosted some national and international curling tournaments here already.
"So we hope that winning Bronze at such a prestigious awards ceremony will help us to continue to be recognised up and down the country and ultimately bring more tourism to Lancashire.”

Hide AdThe Flower Bowl opened in 2018 and is situated near the relocated Barton Grange Garden Centre on the A6.
It immediately won an army of fans for its facilities and unique design.
The centre is now open again daily after lockdown for pre-booked ticket holders.
