Businesses have their say on begging in city centre
Business people will be briefed on Monday about Preston's crackdown on beggars on city centre streets.
A ‘City Talk’ session is being held at Preston Town Hall where a stakeholder panel will update attendees on activities to date and plans in relation to anti-social behaviour associated with begging.
The scheme was launched nearly a year ago.
There will also be an opportunity to have dialogue with the panel and fellow attendees about how best to see a positive reduction in the number of people begging.
Further details about the talk and the support and initiatives already in place can be found on the Preston Business Improvement District website .
The session is open to businesses only. To confirm your attendance, email [email protected]
