Youngsters go potty for a day at Victorian workshop

Youngsters enjoyed being apprentice potters for the day at an event in the Harris Museum.

The theme of the afternoon for kids aged five to 12 was learning a skill enjoyed by children in Victorian times.

The free workshop was part of a series of events being put on at the museum to keep youngsters entertained during the school holidays.

Tomorrow, there will be two time explorers sessions for kids, taking them round the stories behind the Discover Preston gallery.

Admission is free and the sessions start from 11am and 1.30pm.
