Virtual tours of Volatile Light

A special session to help disabled people to enjoy The Harris Museum’s new light show art installation, Volatile Light, are to run at the institution.

Next Friday August 9, the flagship gallery hosts a Volatile Light Audio Described Sensory Workshop, from 2pm to 4pm.

The free session, described as a hands on sensory experience, is to allow visually impaired adults to enjoy the display, although all are welcome to attend.

And, following this, on Tuesday August 13, the Harris is staging Virtual Volatile Light, to allow children from seven to 12 years to learn more of the construction of the amazing light machine.

From 10am to 10.45am, the kids get the chance to create 3D objects and sculptures in its creator IOU Theatre’s virtual world.

Both workshops are free but places are limitedr so anyone wishing to go should book places in advance on 01772 905414.
