Soulfly is led by former Sepultura frontman Max Cavalera, who formed the band after leaving the Brazilian group in 1996. The band has released eight studio albums, and, in 2014, head out in support of new album Savages.

Long-time lead guitarist Marc Rizzo, bassist Tony Campos (Static X, Ministry) and Max’s 21 year-old son Zyon complete the line-up.

The album also features a host of metal scene veterans, including a blistering vocal performance from Napalm Death’s Mitch Harris.

Soulfly incorporate many styles of metal with Brazilian tribal and world music.
