Three kings on stage – Elvis, Buddy and Fury
A break from the mould, Michael now covers rock and roll pioneer Buddy Holly, ‘Britain’s Elvis’ Billy Fury, as well as performing his award-winning Elvis routine.
He said: “It’s great to be back on tour, me and the lads are loving the nights back in Blackpool.

“Performing as Buddy Holly has been a fresh and welcome challenge, and I have found it quite difficult adjusting my singing to match his unique voice. I’m getting a real buzz by performing as Billy Fury at the moment who is proving my favourite, but ask me next week and it could be Elvis again!”
It was the 36-year anniversary of Elvis’ death on Friday, August 16 prompting Michael to host a tribute event.
“We held a special concert on August 15 to commemorate Elvis and had a really big show of support by hundreds of Elvis fans.

“50 years down the line and here we are, with more Elvis fans that he had whilst he was alive.”
Michael, who organises the European Elvis Championships every year in Birmingham, is the only UK Elvis to have won the Elvis Icon Award (2003) when he travelled to perform in Las Vegas among several other Elvis acts.
He said: “I was very honoured to receive the award, particularly being the first and only British Elvis to win in America.
