Director-producer James Baker brings this brand new touring show celebrating the music of one of the best-selling groups of all time – Abba – to the venue on Thursday March 26.

In 1974 the little-known Swedish pop group Abba swept to superstardom with their Eurovision winning ‘Waterloo’.

Abba broke up in 1982, but the group’s music later enjoyed a fresh burst of popularity through films such as Muriel’s Wedding and The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert.

In 1999 the hits of the Swedish superstars were developed into a stage show Mamma Mia and that later spawned a blockbuster movie.

Abba has sold more than 380million albums and singles worldwide – and counting – making them the second best-selling music group of all time.

They were honoured at the 50th anniversary celebration of the Eurovision Song Contest in 2005, when smash-hit “Waterloo” was chosen as the best song in the competition’s history
